A lush ballad, "Through Rose-Colored Glasses" showcases the sensitivity of your ensemble. A fluid saxophone line is laid in relief over a gorgeously voiced brass melody. Solos build energy, and a double-time section provides some space for your trumpet soloist. This gives way to a powerful ensemble declaration, then a quiet restatement of the theme brings the piece to its finish. For advanced ensembles.
